Excellent opportunity to join a successful firm of accountants in the City as Payroll Assistant. Salary £35-40k + comprehensive benefits package. Hybrid working after 3 months. This is a permanent, full-time role.
If you have at least 3 years' experience as a Payroll Assistant in professional services (accountancy firm or similar eg. law firm, surveyors, management consultancy or payroll bureau), ideally from another accountancy firm, this could be the ideal opportunity for you to progress your career to the next level. Working in a Payroll team of 7, duties are varied and include -
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll for a range of clients in a timely manner including calculating absence and deductions
- Updating employee details including statutory changes
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge on payroll policies and legislation
- Responding to queries
- Working on a range of payroll projects
