Portfolio Payroll is currently working with a large organization on the Wirral, recruiting for a Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Advisor to join their team. They offer an excellent working environment, work-from-home opportunities, and fantastic benefits!
Key Duties/Tasks:
- Technical skills including Resourcelink System & Excel
- Support the busy payroll department with high volume starters and leavers
- Experience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns
- Must have very strong Excel skills due to manual processing
- High volume, fast-paced environment
- Processing compensations and benefits, which constitutes 25% of the role
- Provide comprehensive advice to employees regarding payroll queries
- Ensure all payments, including benefits, are made within deadlines
- Experience with Zellis/Resourcelink system is preferred
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
- 2-3 years industry experience minimum, ideally
- Benefits or Compensation experience essential
- Previous payroll experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Keen eye for detail
- Team-oriented attitude
- Strong basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills for answering queries
- Confident with Excel
- CIPP qualification is advantageous but not essential

Normal working hours are 39 hours per week, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break.
