Overview
Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about payroll? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment? If so, we'd love to hear from you!
Join the Adventure: Payroll Officer Wanted! We are looking for a Payroll Officer to become a vital part of our finance team — acting as a strong number two to our Payroll Manager and helping ensure our people are paid accurately and on time, every time.
We create unforgettable experiences for our customers — and that starts with taking great care of our employees.
About the Role
As our new Payroll Officer, you'll support the end-to-end payroll process for our UK teams. Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all payroll functions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their payroll career within a vibrant, people-focused business.
Responsibilities
- Support the Payroll Manager with the processing of monthly payrolls
- Maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist with pension contributions, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.), and year-end reporting (P60s, P11Ds)
- Liaise with HR and Finance to ensure data integrity across systems
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation and HMRC updates
- Contribute to process improvements and payroll system enhancements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a payroll role, ideally within a medium-to-large organisation
- Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation and best practice
- Comfortable working with payroll softwares
- High attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills
- A proactive team player with strong communication skills
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience in the travel industry is a plus, but not essential
What You'll Get
- Competitive salary + discounts
- Hybrid/flexible working model
- A collaborative and supportive culture
- Opportunities for professional development
- The chance to work in an industry that's all about passion, people, and experiences
