Payroll Specialist

Team/Role Overview
This role will involve dealing with complex employee queries including PAYE tax issues, whilst delivering a high level of customer service at all times.
What you'll do
- Resolve employee queries using Servicenow.
- Follow all standard processes and guidance.
- Maintain employee records on Workday.
- Calculate and record payroll deductions or earnings as necessary.
- Review and audit payroll records including sickness payments and retrospective pay.
- Reconcile earnings and deduction totals.
- Create and maintain maternity schedules.
- Participate in projects and initiatives as they arise.
- Previous relevant Payroll experience (necessary)
- Experience of using Workday Payroll (desirable).
- Experience of working for a global company (desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and high attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting skills, and creative problem solving skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed and think and act independently while also being team oriented
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent professional experience.
