Payroll Officer

Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a flexible role? We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join our client's team in Glasgow, offering a mix of office-based and remote working.

Location: Glasgow

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days in the office, 3 days from home (for the first few weeks of training, 4 days in the office required)

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm

In this full end-to-end payroll role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will work closely with the HR and finance teams to support smooth payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full end-to-end payroll processing for our employees
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and reports
  • Responding to payroll-related queries from staff and management
  • Liaising with HMRC and pension providers as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in payroll is essential
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, legislation, and compliance
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Confident in using payroll software and MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
