The Portfolio Group are partnering with a global organisation currently looking to hire an experienced UK Payroll Team Leader to be based out of their European Head Office located in London.

This role will report directly into the Payroll Manager and will be responsible for the line management of one Payroll Assistant.

Responsibilities include:

* Taking ownership of UK payroll processing
* Supporting the International Payroll Manager and leading on overseeing of BAU operations
* Supporting on payroll projects
* Oversee payroll reporting and balance reconciliations
* Preparations of payroll journals and bonus accruals
* Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Maintenance of the timekeeping system
* Supervision and development of the payroll assistant

Experience required:

* Experience of processing UK payrolls
* Experience in either a stand alone, senior to or supervisory payroll position
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Payroll experience within a retail or hospitality environment is highly desirable
