Our Third Party Administration (TPA) department is a dynamic team managing a diverse portfolio of clients. They play a key role in providing our clients and members with market-leading service on Defined Benefits (DB), Defined Contribution (DC), and CARE pension arrangements.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join this department as a Pensions Project Administrator within our Data Journey team in our Edinburgh or Glasgow Office.
What will your role look like?
You will work as part of the TPA Data Journey Projects Team nationwide to support the delivery and implementation of pensions administration data enhancement projects for our clients. Projects may include preparing schemes for Dashboard connection, data cleansing for buy-in projects, and GMP equalisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Under guidance from a senior colleague, perform pensions data cleansing and improve electronic data accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with producing end-of-project closure reports as required.
- Collaborate with all teams to ensure smooth progress of pensions projects.
- Run pensions data extracts, analyze data, and produce letters/reports for team review.
- Follow office procedures, document all communications, and adhere to compliance requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative duties, including mailing exercises and helpline support.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Minimum GCSE/Scottish Standard Maths and English, or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of DB pensions and previous experience in pensions projects.
- Experience working in an administrative environment.
- Experience in data collection and entry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
