Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a wide variety of employee relations (ER) cases, from complex investigations to performance and capability matters, providing expert advice that drives fair, consistent and people-focused outcomes.
• Be the first point of contact for all employee relations matters, providing clear, practical and solution-focused advice to managers and employees.
• Oversee a broad range of ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, TUPE and performance issues, ensuring processes are managed fairly, consistently and in line with company policies and employment law.
• Coach and support managers to foster a positive, inclusive working environment.
• Support the development of a positive workplace culture through collaborative stakeholder relationships.

What you’ll need

• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR policies
• Demonstrable experience managing complex ER cases end-to-end
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to coach and influence managers with confidence and credibility
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high volume and varied caseload

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and confident People Adviser who is passionate about employee relations and enjoys building trusted relationships across the business. In this role, you'll take ownership of a wide variety of ER cases, from complex investigations to performance and capability matters, providing expert advice that drives fair, consistent and people-focused outcomes. As a People Adviser, you will be the first point of contact for all employee relations matters, providing clear, practical and solution-focused advice to managers and employees. You will oversee a broad range of ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, TUPE and performance issues to name but a few, ensuring that all processes are managed fairly, consistently and in line with company policies and employment law. You will also play a key role in coaching and supporting managers to foster a positive, inclusive working environment.
