People Business Partner (Medicine and Health) (HR1125) – University of Lincoln

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting the University of Lincoln’s evolving health agenda. This role will be instrumental in enabling the next phase of growth for the Lincoln Medical School as well as supporting the establishment and ambition of the Lincoln Institute for Dental and Oral Health. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to transformational change in health education and research, working closely with academic and professional services colleagues to shape the future of healthcare education in Lincolnshire and beyond.

As part of the People, Performance and Culture team, our mission is to create a high-performing community where colleagues are engaged, developed, supported, and rewarded to deliver the University’s refreshed Strategic Plan. In this role, you will lead on people-related matters within your designated portfolio areas, providing expert guidance on casework, operational support, and workforce planning. You will collaborate with the business partnering team and wider stakeholders to deliver people solutions and projects that enable growth, innovation, and excellence in the University’s health-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across academic and clinical environments
  • Navigate people challenges with confidence and empathy, with a people-first attitude
  • Bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to supporting organisational change
  • Support and advise on casework, operational processes, and workforce planning within designated portfolio areas

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in a People/HR partnering or advisory role
  • Ability to advise on casework, workforce planning, and change management
  • Experience in clinical settings is advantageous but not essential

Department: Administrative and Professional Services

Salary: £32,546 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full-time at 37 hours per week

Location: Worksop, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom (site varies by role)
