People Coordinator (12 month FTC) at So Energy

Reporting to our Head of People Operations, Viv, this is a genuinely generalist role with the opportunity to get involved with all touch points of the employee lifecycle. You will assist with on-boarding of new So Energists, maintain our HRIS, support off-boarding of leavers, maintain org charts and HR reporting. You will also be involved in monthly payroll processing.

What you’ll be getting up to

  • Employee lifecycle management, DBS checks, maintaining employeedatabase, payroll administration
  • Support HRBPs, Talent and other areas of the People Team
  • Respond to internal HR queries and actions, prepare employee documents and ensure compliance with HR protocols
  • Responsible for the creation of employee letters and ensuring templates are up to date
  • Support the People Operations team to follow best practice policies
  • Support the implementation of People initiatives and projects
  • Support with onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Administrate and maintain our HRIS (currently Hibob), and ensure it is always up to date
  • Maintain and update org charts
  • Responsible for payroll processing
  • Get involved with HR analytics and reporting on areas such as sickness and absence
  • Support the People team from a generalist perspective during periods of leave or as required
  • Support with recruitment initiatives
  • Demonstrate a values-led approach in line with our behavioural framework
  • Collaborate with ESB colleagues to strengthen our partnership

What we’re looking for

  • Strong communication skills; you are at your best when you talk to people
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Process-oriented
  • Organised and adaptable to change
  • Studied HR or currently studying/looking to study CIPD or equivalent
  • Experience using HiBob (or similar HRIS)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
