Join the Tesco Mobile team as a People Partner and play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategy and driving business performance across our divisions. This is a hybrid role, with two days a week in our vibrant Slough office, giving you the perfect blend of collaboration and flexibility.
In this role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our Senior Leadership Team to influence strategy, shape our OKRs, and ensure our People Plan is fully aligned to the business agenda. You’ll seek out opportunities to transform how we work, champion agile ways of working, and bring fresh thinking to every challenge.
You’ll be a trusted advisor and thought leader on all things people , from transformation and organisational effectiveness to performance and talent management. You’ll challenge us to think differently, embrace diverse perspectives, and explore innovative People solutions – all while role modelling our Tesco Mobile values and behaviours.

Tesco Mobile is a totally unique business, a 50/50 joint venture between VMO2 and Tesco that launched back in 2003 and has gone from strength to strength as we’ve launched into new services, markets and customer propositions.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Proven expertise in the provision of HR counsel to Senior Leaders and practiced in partnering with, and influencing senior stakeholders to translate strategies into HR actions and initiatives to improve performance.
- Ability to work in an agile methodology working environment, with the ability to adapt to change
- Experience leveraging data, analytics, and insights to influence and develop the business agenda and transform ways of working.
- Skilled in the implementation of Employee experience initiatives
- Lead and deliver the talent strategies that identify and solve business issues, help leaders to see around corners to address future trends and changes to the talent landscape
We'd also love you to bring;
- Demonstrating the ability to connect information, processes and events to provide unique insights
- Relentlessly seek continuous improvement, takes calculated risks in trying innovative approaches, fails fast, and works collaboratively to enable rapid decision-making on People related topics
- Act as credible HR consultant to provide counsel and advice on confidential topics in service of delivering of business goals.
- Be Customer obsessed in improving the Employee Experience. Strong internal and external customer focus
- Have a growth mindset, be ambitious, motivated to learn and develop, willingness to be stretched and tested i.e., sees and is excited by moving roles and not staying in comfort zone
