People & Strategy Manager, Utilities Sector

New Yesterday

Overview

Are you looking to take your career to new heights and be a part of an award-winning Utilities team in a business and technology consultancy that delivers exceptional results for clients? Our UK-based team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Manager to join our dedicated team and make a meaningful contribution from the start.

As a valued member of our team, you\'ll have the chance to take on responsibility, establish valuable client relationships, and play a role in driving growth for our Utilities practice. On a day-to-day basis, you could be supporting our clients to drive process improvements, leading change management strategies, and re-designing organisation structures and operating models. You might also delve into the latest trends in Analytics, CX, and Technology to enhance customer experience in a meaningful way, potentially targeting improvements in environmental performance, chemical usage, or energy consumption.

With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and customer success, our team is composed of passionate experts who excel in a client-facing setting. As a Manager, you\'ll have ample opportunities for professional growth and the chance to work on various projects that will challenge and inspire you. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team that is at the forefront of the Utilities industry.

What are we looking for?

  • You have previously led and delivered strategic transformation programmes within the utilities sector, either as a consultant or internally for that utility, while guiding your team to consistently exceed client expectations.
  • Building strong relationships with both colleagues and clients is key to our success, so we\'re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, excels in developing good relationships with senior business leaders based on trust and respect.
  • You may have previous consulting experience or have played a key role in leading transformative change within a Utilities company; we are keen to hear from the right people from whatever your background. Your knowledge and experience in digital transformation, operational strategy, process excellence, and change projects and programmes will be highly valued.
  • \"You\'re eager to apply your initiative and new ideas, always looking for ways to improve and innovate, comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.\"
  • Strong communication skills, excellent business writing skills and confidence in presenting are important so that you can make client deliverables and sales material tell a story. Building relationships and driving success go hand in hand.
  • We need someone to build fantastic relationships with our clients and work closely with them to deliver the outcomes they need. Therefore, while our offices are based in London, the role requires someone motivated and able to be present with our clients UK-wide when required. We welcome applications UK-wide but travel is essential in this role.
