Overview

Pershing Regulatory Reporting Manager – Vice President role at ACCA Careers. This role is located in Manchester, UK and will be working in a hybrid capacity.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Reporting: Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial and regulatory reports (daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
  • Monitoring: Daily monitoring of capital and liquidity resources against thresholds in close collaboration with Controllers and Treasury teams to ensure timely oversight and escalation.
  • Reviewing: Reviewing and presenting quarterly regulatory returns to senior management.
  • Compliance: Keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes and providing impact analysis to stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Providing leadership and direction to a team of regulatory reporting professionals.
  • Support: Providing support for projects related to new regulatory reporting requirements, policy interpretation and system improvements.
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills, including communication, planning and escalation.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong regulatory reporting experience, including knowledge of systems and processes.
  • Experience in Investment Management or Broker Dealers is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience with MIFIDPRU, IFD and IFR regulations are also desirable.
  • Experience with automation and process improvement.

  • The role may involve working with teams in Liverpool, Manchester and India.
  • Candidate should have the ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven, and tightly controlled environment across multinational and cross-functional teams, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure.
  • The role may also involve participation in the ICARA process, wind-down planning, and Capital / Liquidity stress testing.
