Hi, I’m Joanne Diggines, Service Manager for the Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) Service. I am proud of the service and our commitment to improving outcomes for children. We are currently seeking a Personal Advisor to join our Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children’s (UASC) Team. Experience working with care leavers/adults 18+ and understanding the challenges of transitioning to independence are essential.

This is an exciting, developing service in Norfolk. You will help develop working practices within the team and collaborate with partner agencies to provide a robust support system for children and young people entering Norfolk for the first time. We offer a friendly, supportive environment and welcome dedicated social work professionals.

Norfok is a fantastic place to live and work. Our countywide team is based mainly in Dereham, with Norwich as a venue for meetings. The service is hybrid, encouraging regular in-office meetings; hence, a driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
