Personal Injury Solicitor opportunities – Catastrophic Injury / Multi track / Public sector

We are currently recruiting for a number of fantastic opportunities with top law firms in Manchester city centre. These openings range from a leading catastrophic injury team to a role focusing exclusively on multi‑track RTA work. We also have a new opportunity with a public sector team defending intricate, technical and complex claims against the police as well as other emergency services.

  • Location: Manchester
  • Work pattern: Hybrid Working
  • Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE
  • Level: Solicitor – 1+ PQE to Senior Associate
  1. 1) Catastrophic injury for leading high‑value team

This is a fantastic chance to work with one of the leading teams in catastrophic injury advising on a range of high‑value RTA and EL/PL cases. Candidates who have either motor or EL/PL (or both) experience are welcome to apply.

The Partners are looking for candidates with strong academics and proven technical ability. They are ideally looking for candidates with litigation experience at fast‑track level or above. This is an assisting role where you will work with one of the key Partners in the team.

  2. 2) Police and Emergency Services team

We are currently recruiting for a highly regarded team handling cases brought against the police as well as other emergency services. The Partner is widely recognised for their expertise in defending complex and sensitive public liability claims, including misfeasance in public office, malicious prosecution and Human Rights Act breaches.

These cases are often high‑profile and high‑value in nature. We are looking for injury lawyers with either RTA or EL/PL experience, with inquisitive minds and a genuine passion for this kind of work. With the increased attention that the police and other services are receiving in the media, there has never been a more interesting time to be a lawyer in this discipline.

  3. 3) Multi‑track RTA Solicitor

The Partner who heads this team is looking for a lawyer who wishes to take the next step to handling more complex work. You may, for example, be currently handling lower‑value cases and looking to advise on more technical, high‑value motor work.

The role offers the chance to take a real step up and build your own caseload. It also offers fantastic progression opportunities to Senior Associate.
