We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a leading accountancy and advisory practice in Northern Ireland for an experienced Personal Tax Senior Manager. This is a senior leadership role with significant client responsibility, strong technical breadth, and clear progression potential within a growing practice.

The Role

You will take ownership of a diverse personal tax portfolio, covering HNWIs, business owners, entrepreneurs, and complex family groups. Alongside overseeing compliance, you will play a key role in identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting estate and inheritance tax advisory work.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of personal tax clients
  • Review complex personal tax work and drive advisory assignments
  • Deliver estate and inheritance tax planning projects
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Build strong, trusted client relationships
  • Oversee portfolio profitability and contribute to business development

Candidate Requirements

  • ACA and/or CTA qualified
  • Strong personal tax technical background; experience in IHT/estate planning advantageous
  • Confident in delivering advice and managing client expectations
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and solutions-focused
