Tax Senior – Ely • £35,000 - £40,000

Clark Wood are delighted to be partnering with a leading firm of accountants in Ely who are actively looking for a Personal Tax Senior to join them.

This role is perfect for an experienced professional with a strong background in tax compliance, particularly for personal tax clients, including those with trust experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance issues for the region, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Work closely with Partners on:
• Capital Gains Tax advice
• CGT on UK property returns
• Inheritance Tax matters
• Trusts, including registration services and IHT aspects
• Statutory Residence Test reviews and tax returns for non-resident individuals

Qualifications

• Qualifications: Recognised taxation qualification (ATT or QBE); aspiring towards CTA qualification is a plus.
• Experience: Relevant experience in tax compliance, particularly with trusts.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to clients.
• Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
