Join to apply for the Philanthropy Manager x2 role at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

The LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive university. The role sits in the Philanthropy and Global Engagement Division (PAGE) and supports the Shaping the World Campaign by increasing philanthropic income and strategic partnerships for the School.

We are recruiting two roles: Philanthropy Manager (North America) and Philanthropy Manager (UK and Europe). These roles will work with a Senior Philanthropy Manager to deliver the fundraising strategy in key international regions and will join a growing team to increase income for the Campaign’s priorities.

We are inviting applications for both roles through one joint process. You may indicate your preferred role at interview, but you will be considered for both.

The Role

Successful Candidates Will

• Personally solicit major gifts (c. £100k - £1m) and pledges to an agreed target, as part of the Philanthropy team’s annual income target
• Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager to design and implement strategies to secure major gifts, with a focus on international fundraising
• Be responsible for at least one LSE Campaign priority and fundraising at the six-figure level in at least one key international region.

The Candidate

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• A sustained track record of securing high four and five figure gifts.
• Experience of working within a results-oriented environment, with a record of exceeding personal KPIs and targets.
• Experience of working with and staffing senior institutional leaders as part of cultivation and solicitation of high value donor prospects.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
