Philanthropy Officer

New Yesterday

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Development Team at the world-renowned BRIT School. Working closely with the Philanthropy Manager, the Philanthropy Officer will support the growth of the School’s funding from Major Donors and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs).

The Team

The Development Team at The BRIT School is experienced and focused, with members who have worked in award-winning not-for-profits and national arts centres. The team includes the Director of Development and colleagues focused on Corporate, Philanthropy, Trusts & Grants. Their work is supported by a strong Senior Leadership Team and a motivated Board of Trustees.

You and The BRIT School

This is a new role at an exciting time, following rapid growth in engagement with Major Donors and income from them, including fundraising events at renowned venues like Ronnie Scott’s.

As the new Philanthropy Officer, you will help build on this momentum and support the School’s ambitions as we launch our new Five Year Strategy.

We seek someone passionate about the ethos and ambitions of The BRIT School. As part of a dedicated and expanding team, you’ll have the autonomy, responsibility, and creativity to bring your skills to the role and make an impact—on our fundraising goals and the lives of the young artists we support.

We welcome candidates looking to transition into major donor fundraising from other fundraising or sales backgrounds. We are also open to applicants at the start of their fundraising careers.

Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid and home working, are supported and considered.

The BRIT School is committed to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, which underpin our ethos and values.

We look forward to receiving your application and hope to meet you soon.
