Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a local authority, based inGreater London, which is seeking an experiencedPlanning Lawyerto join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to progress in your career and gain experience in the legal industry.

This role pays a competitive rate of:
Umbrella Rate – £50-£55 per hour
PAYE (inc. Hol) - £44.48 £48.87 per hour

This role is on a contract basis for 3 months but has potential to extend.

Responsibilities as a Planning Lawyer:

• Able to handle high caseload in Planning law from start to completion.




• Prepare planning appeal documents and submissions to relevant planning authorities.

• Drafting legal documents, including section 106 agreements as required by the client departments to fulfil their functions.

About you as a Planning Lawyer:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.




• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with at least 3 years PQE in Planning Law.




• Strong experience and knowledge in Planning, Highways and environmental law.
