What You’ll Be Doing

  • End-to-End Ownership: Lead solution delivery, backlog management, and design within agile, DevOps-focused teams.
  • Deliver platform functions, features and components using agile SDLC practices.
  • Create well-designed, testable code that enables automation of test and deployment activity.
  • Utilise CI/CD techniques in developing platform components.
  • Integrate components into the broader solution landscape using common standards and patterns.
  • Document and maintain platform functionality, contributing to design artefacts, operating instructions, run books and end-user material.
  • Build self-service and GitOps processes.
  • Contribute to wider engineering community direction, tooling and technologies.

Who You Are

  • Experienced in development and support of Cloud Landing Zones, particularly Azure.
  • Expertise in at least one server-side language (Python or Node.js).
  • Experience with source control and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub, Terraform, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace and Azure Monitor).
  • Experience with agile collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA and Confluence).
  • Willingness to develop expertise across the team and different areas.

Requirements & Benefits

Location: Hybrid/home working; offices in London, Brighton, Exeter and Plymouth. Starting salary of £63,000 DOE with up to 5% bonus, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a market-leading pension scheme.
