Platform Engineer (Linux Cloud) London / WFH to £120k

Are you an infrastructure technologist with a strong knowledge of Linux and public cloud services? You could be progressing your career at a highly profitable High Frequency Trading firm that specializes in crypto markets.

Responsibilities

• Join a small team responsible for the 24x7x365 globally distributed ethical web scraping function, supporting a multi-region high frequency operation.
• Proactively identify, analyse, drive and own performance and process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with the development team on architecture and prioritisation and with the infrastructure team on common infrastructure improvements across the estate.

Location / Working pattern

You’ll join the team in Central London with flexibility to work from home twice a week (on-call requirement).

About you

• Commercial experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or SRE
• Strong Bash or Python scripting skills
• Multi-cloud experience (AWS and/or Azure preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Linux
• Collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
• Technical degree
