Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for HCPC registered podiatrists to join our team in Forth Valley. You must be a team player, flexible, with the ability to plan and organise your caseload effectively, as you will be working across several locations. You must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills and be able to negotiate with and motivate your patients to improve their foot health.
The caseload you will cover will provide care mainly to patients in health centres, patients’ own homes and community hospitals. You will be involved in nail surgery on a rotational basis. You should be committed and excited by improving services and supporting staff wellbeing and collaborating with others to deliver the very best care to those we serve.
You will be mobile across the geographic area of Forth Valley. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
Responsibilities
- Provide podiatry care to patients in health centres, patients’ homes and community hospitals across Forth Valley.
- Plan, organise and manage a caseload across multiple locations with flexibility and effective time management.
- Work on a rotational basis with nail surgery as part of duties.
- Communicate effectively with patients to improve foot health and motivate adherence to care plans.
- Collaborate with team members to improve services and support staff wellbeing.
Qualifications and Requirements
- HCPC registered podiatrist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel within the Forth Valley area.
- Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is required at the time of appointment.
