Overview
Temporary – 18 months, Four days (28 hours) a week. Happy to talk about flexible working. The TUC is looking for a Policy & Campaigns Officer to contribute to our work ensuring workers benefit from and shape new technologies and artificial intelligence – in the workplace and in public policy.
It will suit someone who is comfortable engaging with fast-moving policy debates on AI, delivering public events and supporting unions to respond to how AI is changing the world of work.
Responsibilities
- Engage with fast-moving policy debates on artificial intelligence and technology
- Deliver public events and support unions to respond to how AI is changing the world of work
- Contribute to policy and campaign activities to ensure workers benefit from new technologies
Qualifications and Skills
- Involvement in policy or campaigning on technology and AI issues
- Skills in organising and facilitating meetings, seminars, conferences or similar events, including online events
- The ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
