Job Description

Policy and Public Affairs Officer

Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Research and draft policy briefings for staff and trustees
  • Support the delivery of UK political campaigning
  • Monitor UK parliamentary and political activities and keep the team informed of relevant developments and engagement opportunities
  • Assist teams by proof reading and organising design and print of publications

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as public policy, political science
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of the processes of the UK and devolved parliaments and UK civil service
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint
