Role summary

Sevenoaks District Council is a high performing local authority with an enviable track record of providing excellent services for its residents. As our Policy & Performance Manager youll support us as we move towards a new future for local government in Kent. Youll be critical in keeping our Members and most senior officers one step ahead by providing high quality research, analysis and advice. Providing us with the latest insight and the right approach to performance management, youll steer us through the changing local government environment.

If you enjoy variety in your work, are an excellent communicator, can demonstrate an excellent understanding of local government and the services we deliver, possess strong research and analytical skills and can take a positive, team working approach to identifying solutions this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career and make a real impact in shaping the future of our Council.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
