Policy, Research and Information Officer – The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £44,355 – £48,446 per annum. Closing date: 20 October 2025.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Principal Social Worker, you will play a key role in the continuous improvement of the Adult Social Care department. Youll lead the development of policies and guidance, research and evaluate new ways of working (including the use of AI and technology), and create accessible information for staff and residents.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications to degree level or equivalent experience in research and policy development.
• Experience in developing policies and managing information content.
• Understanding of co-production and experience working in social care or health.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Excellent IT and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.
