Portfolio Lead with a strong wealth management background urgently required by a leading financial services client in Leeds on an initial 3‑month contract. This role is inside IR35 and offers a daily rate up to £680 / day.

My client is embarking on an ambitious growth and acquisition journey, with major change initiatives already in flight. As the Portfolio Lead, you will have full oversight of the organisation’s change and transformation portfolio, ensuring every initiative - from technology and operations to client proposition - supports a smooth and scalable M&A roadmap.

• Proven experience overseeing large and complex change portfolios
• Wealth management background
• M&A exposure (highly beneficial)
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
• The confidence to challenge the status quo and drive portfolio performance

You will provide end-to-end oversight of the firm’s change and transformation portfolio, aligning all projects to the company’s M&A readiness and growth roadmap. You will work closely with the C‑suite and functional leads to prioritise, sequence, and resource initiatives that enable scalable integration and delivery.

This role is flexibly based from Leeds city centre (2 days / week on site).
