Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Sustainable Chemistry to work under the supervision of Professor James Durant for a period of up to 6 months. This role will support the research leadership of Professor James Durrant in sustainable photoelectrochemistry and will include support in the potential development of an institute for sustainable chemistry and materials including support in proposal writing. This project is funded by the Department of Chemistry, Oxford University, aligned with its Strategic Research Funding in Sustainable Photoelectrochemistry.

Responsibilities
- Support the research leadership of Professor James Durrant in sustainable photoelectrochemistry.
- Assist in the potential development of an institute for sustainable chemistry and materials, including support in proposal writing.
- Manage your own academic research and administrative activities and contribute to wider project planning, including ideas for new research projects.
Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a first degree in Chemistry (prior to taking up the appointment) together with some relevant experience.
- Experience in sustainable photoelectrochemistry, including knowledge of the wider research context and key policy drivers.

The post will be based in the Department of Chemistry, Chemistry Research Laboratory, 12 Mansfield Road, Oxford and there will be the opportunity for online/hybrid working. This post is available as soon as possible. This is a part-time role - 11.5 hours p/week.
