We are working with a highly regarded Managed Service Provider (MSP) who are looking to appoint a talented Power BI Developer to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that supports a diverse client base across multiple sectors, providing innovative IT solutions and data-driven insights.

As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering interactive dashboards and data models to a wide range of clients. You will work closely with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders to understand reporting needs, ensuring solutions are accurate and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models for client accounts.
  • Translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across reporting environments.
  • Work with IT teams to connect Power BI to a range of systems and data sources.
  • Optimise queries and models for performance and scalability.
  • Provide clients with best practice guidance and training where required.
  • Keep up to date with Power BI developments and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Experience Needed

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, ideally gained within an MSP, consultancy, or similar client-facing environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and APIs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A consultative approach with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Services (e.g. Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) would be beneficial.

The role is offering a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum alongside a wealth of benefits. These include Private health care, 22 days holiday + your birthday off, enhanced pension and more. The position is a hybrid role based in Manchester.
