Power BI Specialist (Contract) role at OSCAR ASSOCIATES (UK) LIMITED. This is a fully remote contract role, starting ASAP.

PowerBI Specialist (Contract) | £350-£450 p/day (Outside IR35) | 3 Months (strong possibility of extension) | ASAP

Responsibilities

• Review, maintain, and optimise existing Power BI reports and DAX queries.
• Manage and integrate Power BI via APIs to streamline customer reporting.
• Consolidate multiple customer-specific reports into more efficient, scalable solutions.
• Support integration of Power BI with Fabric (experience here highly beneficial).
• Work with Azure Data Lake and wider Azure ecosystem for data sourcing and performance improvements.
• Provide best practice guidance for managing a full reporting suite in a SaaS environment.

What we’re looking for / Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Power BI (including DAX, query optimisation, and report management).
• Proven experience managing Power BI through APIs and driving automation.
• Background in scaling BI solutions across multiple customers/environments.
• Familiarity with Fabric (hands-on experience a big plus).
• Experience with Azure and Data Lakes.
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of reporting suites, including integrations.
