As part of the MMGY Global family, Grifco’s clients have access to an international communications practice across all marketing channels – providing a holistic and fully integrated solution to marketing needs.Based in London, we currently have a fantastic opportunity for a PR Account Director to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will direct the team across clients, ensuring the successful implementation of PR plans and strategy.Note: The company website is referenced but not included here.ResponsibilitiesOversee the team’s workload and progress, ensuring high-quality delivery and clear communication with senior management.Develop and execute annual PR strategies for clients, bringing bold, creative ideas to the table.Lead proactive media outreach and story pitching, securing standout coverage across national, glossy, and digital outlets.Build and nurture relationships with key media, representing MMGY Global as an industry ambassador.Organise and lead group press trips and client FAMs, ensuring fair team participation and hands-on client engagement.Provide leadership and guidance in moments of crisis—supporting clients and mentoring junior staff on best practices.Contribute to new business development through proposal writing and pitch presentations.Qualifications5+ years’ experience in PR, ideally with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial roleDeep understanding of the travel and lifestyle media landscapeStrong network of media contacts across national and consumer titlesProven experience managing teams, campaigns, and budgetsExceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsSolid understanding of social media and how it integrates with PR strategiesIf you are excited to join us on a fixed term basis for 12 months, we'd love to hear from you!BenefitsA flexible hybrid work scheduleGenerous annual holiday package including 25 days of annual leave, 3 personal days and year-end holiday break.Private medical, life and income protection insurance and pension scheme contribution from the company.Lively social calendar with numerous activities and events to take part in.Weekly fresh fruit deliveries.Dog friendly office.Cycle to work scheme/Season Ticket Loan.Work from anywhere / work from any office benefits.Who Are We?
