We’re looking for a driven and capable PR Account Manager to join our growing Financial Services team at Grayling UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a communications professional ready to take the next step in managing day-to-day account activity, building trusted client relationships, and delivering outstanding work across corporate communications, thought leadership, executive visibility, and issues support.

You’ll work across a mix of clients; from established financial institutions to innovative fintechs and be exposed to some of the most relevant and reputationally significant topics shaping the sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of account activity across multiple financial services clients.
• Act as a key point of contact for client teams, supporting regular comms, coordination, and workflow.
• Draft high-quality materials including press releases, briefing notes, Q&As, social copy, and thought leadership.
• Support the development of client-ready decks, proposals and campaign materials with clarity, structure, and polish.
• Secure media coverage by building journalist relationships, selling in stories, and monitoring the news agenda.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of integrated campaigns across earned, owned and shared channels.
• Help monitor client sectors for relevant news, risks, and opportunities bringing fresh insight to your teams.
• Support account admin including reporting, timelines, status updates, and budget tracking.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Grayling’s creative, digital, public affairs and international teams.
  
  

• Proven experience in PR and communications (ideally from an agency environment), with some experience in or exposure to financial services, fintech or regulated sectors.
• A solid understanding of media relations, content development and stakeholder communications.
• Excellent written skills and attention to detail, with the ability to craft clear, compelling content across formats.
• Experience producing client-facing decks, proposals and materials that are well-structured and insight-led.
• Confident working directly with clients, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities at once.
• A collaborative team player who’s eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced agency environment.
