Senior Account Executive – Strategic Communications (Financial Services) – London (Hybrid)

An award-winning international communications consultancy is looking for a driven Senior Account Executive to join its London team. This role involves working across a portfolio of high-profile clients spanning financial services and fintech, with an integrated approach to media relations, content, and crisis expertise.

As an SAE, you’ll gain exposure to senior leaders and play a hands-on role in delivering campaigns that influence key conversations in the sector.

Responsibilities

• Supporting on client relationships across financial services and fintech.
• Helping deliver integrated PR and comms strategies across media, content, and digital.
• Drafting press releases, articles, and other client materials.
• Building media lists, pitching stories, and securing coverage.
• Monitoring news, preparing reports, and analysing campaign results.
• Supporting new business activity and contributing ideas to creative campaigns.

About you

• 1–2 years’ agency-side experience, ideally in financial or corporate communications.
• Strong writing skills with an eye for detail and a nose for a story.
• Interest in financial services and ability to pick up complex topics quickly.
• Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple projects.
• Confident communicator with clients, colleagues, and journalists.
