TMW is a leading integrated creative agency based in London and Bristol. With over 30 years of experience, we’ve built long-term relationships with our clients. We combine creativity with connectivity, that’s powered by deep insight, from our Human Understanding Lab. While we’re still independently minded, we’re part of the Accenture Song family, which provides us with access to the world’s largest tech-powered creative group.

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Account Executive who is passionate about consumer PR, influencer campaigns and is excited by the world of consumer tech.

We’re looking for someone who loves the thrill of media relations – from selling in news stories, picture stunts, brand campaigns, or placing product reviews, you’ll have the right media contacts in consumer tech, as well as lifestyle publications (you’ll know how to make consumer tech relatable to the every day) to make a story or product convert to column inches / online news sites.

You’ll be a pro at switching from press office actions to jumping into campaigns – from getting the latest kit into the right media/influencer hands over launch, to writing a news release about the latest consumer trend. And you’ll throw yourself into new business too – helping with research, idea generation, and even getting in the room to pitch from time to time, demonstrating your earned media skills.

You’ll enjoy working in a close-knit, collaborative team while benefiting from the resources and opportunities that come with the backing of a global agency group. If you’re proactive, hungry, creative, and ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a hybrid role which for us means a mix of working from home and our offices in Farringdon, London.

Press and influencer relationships

  • You have a strong knowledge of the UK consumer media and influencer landscape that is relevant to clients and more generally
  • You know how to craft a story and what makes it land for journalists, drawing on your little black book of consumer and tech contacts where relevant. You love pitching, and going out and meeting media / influencer contacts
  • You have your finger on the pulse of culture, social trends and the media landscape, sharing articles of interest and movers, shakers and updates with your team
  • You’re passionate about the tech world - from web cams to dash cams - and have previous experience working with consumer tech brands and media

Client management

  • You build rapport with your clients, listening carefully to their requests
  • Manage client reviews and approvals on documents or before the commencement of any work
  • Recording all client meetings, key conversations and decisions in call notes or contact reports

Attitude

  • You have a collaborative, proactive relationship with your clients and colleagues, acting as a central point of contact and bring a positive attitude to your work
  • Show proactivity when it comes to client and internal work: you think one step ahead at all times
  • You’re solutions-focused; making recommendations and coming to your managers with resolutions, rather than problems

Creativity

  • Seek to make an active contribution to the creative briefing and idea development process
  • Conducting research into our clients or markets to inform creative development on your accounts

Account delivery

  • You’re informed of the status of all retained and campaign/project activity, keeping everyone informed of progress and producing status reports
  • You have an eye for detail: you handle administrative aspects of your accounts with precision and in a timely manner
  • You’re a source of all media, competitor and consumer information for your clients – including daily media monitoring and coverage reporting
  • You are organised, staying on top of your own to-do list (and keeping managers updated), as well as having an awareness of goings-on across the rest of your accounts

What’s in it for you

At Accenture in addition to a competitive basic salary, you will also have an extensive benefits package which includes 25days’ vacation per year, private medical insurance and 3 extra days leave per year for charitable work of your choice!

Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role as there will be requirements to spend time onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery of the first-class services we are known for.

Please note that with all of our roles, you should expect some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities.

As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
