Pre-Construction Manager - Civil Engineering - Waste Water project

About the company: A leading civil engineering main contractor delivering high-quality projects across the UK. They are looking to recruit a Pre-Construction Manager - Waste Water to strengthen their pre-construction team with an experienced and driven professional.

Your new role: As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will manage one or multiple projects in the pre-construction stage, supporting project planning and programme delivery. You will liaise with the Pre-Construction Director and team regarding upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure financial accuracy in final bid submissions.
2. Work with design partners to develop compliant and competitive designs.
3. Coordinate electrical design elements for integration and efficiency.
4. Attend meetings with main contractors and clients, leading communication with design teams and supply chain partners.
5. Review drawings, schedules, and technical submittals prior to client submission.
6. Support contracts managers and procurement teams to meet specifications and requirements.
7. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure bid compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in project management.
• Strong understanding of water projects.
• Familiarity with NEC3/4 contracts and construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A proactive, self-starting approach with a passion for preconstruction.
