Pre-Construction Manager - Civil Engineering - Waste Water project
About the company: A leading civil engineering main contractor delivering high-quality projects across the UK. They are looking to recruit a Pre-Construction Manager - Waste Water to strengthen their pre-construction team with an experienced and driven professional.
Your new role: As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will manage one or multiple projects in the pre-construction stage, supporting project planning and programme delivery. You will liaise with the Pre-Construction Director and team regarding upcoming projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure financial accuracy in final bid submissions.
- Work with design partners to develop compliant and competitive designs.
- Coordinate electrical design elements for integration and efficiency.
- Attend meetings with main contractors and clients, leading communication with design teams and supply chain partners.
- Review drawings, schedules, and technical submittals prior to client submission.
- Support contracts managers and procurement teams to meet specifications and requirements.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure bid compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management.
- Strong understanding of water projects.
- Familiarity with NEC3/4 contracts and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with a passion for preconstruction.
