International Account Manager - Defence IT and Engineering at CBSbutler

Basingstoke/hybrid (once per week on site)

£70k plus 15% bonus, £6k car allowance and 10% DV Bonus

Up to £93,500 total package

Candidates must be willing and eligible to go through SC and DV Security Clearance required for this role.

I am looking for a Pre Sales Application Architect for a client of mine who are a leading IT Systems Integrator operating within the UK defence sector. You will be responsible for the creation of design artefacts that enable the provision of Applications using industry standard methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design artefacts and artifacts that enable provision of applications using industry standard methodologies. Prepare design artifacts and drive architectural outcomes aligned with client requirements.

Transferable skills and experience

General

• Design Modelling, ideally with Archimate (BizzDesign preferred)
• Requirements Modelling / Capture techniques such as User Stories and Use Cases.
• AWS General / Usage
• VMWare General/Usage
• Technical Leadership & Design

Data Integration Focused

• Data Pipeline Orchestration, and ELT tooling such as Apache Airflow, Apark, NiFi, Airbyte and Singer.
• Message Brokers, streaming data processors, such as Apache Kafka
• CI/CD Pipeline, Integration, ideally Azure DevOps

Automation Key Skills

Experience in the Design / Configuration / Usage in a number of the following –

• Low-code Platforms, such as Power Platform, Appian, UiPath, Blue Prism
• RPA and Automation solutions

Apps Design and Integration Key Skills

Experience in the Design / Configuration / Usage in a number of the following –

• Software / API / Web Design and Development
• Database Design and Data Modelling

Experience in the Design / Configuration / Usage in a number of the following –

• CI/CD Pipelines, ideally Azure DevOps
• IaC code tooling, including Terraform, Ansible, Harbor
