Job Purpose

We are looking for someone to join our team who will play an integral part in the growth of the Kefron Digital business by developing a scalable pre‑sales function to drive new logo acquisitions and to support customer retention. This person will support the Kefron AP Sales and CS teams by providing client‑facing technical expertise to win and retain customers on the Kefron AP platform.

To be a deep subject matter expert on the Kefron AP solution, as well as being an effective conduit between the sales, delivery and technical functions within Kefron Digital to support solution scoping and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

System Demonstrations – Prospects, Customers and Partners

  • To partner with the AE and CS teams on demo and/or solution scoping sessions for prospects and clients
  • Configure the demo system for a tailored demo session using customer data
  • Demonstrate an in‑depth understanding of the following capabilities: OCR and AI document capture and scanning, Purchase order matching functionality, Invoice coding and approvals functionality, Purchase order module features and functions, System administration
  • To run technical system integration and/or demo sessions with a customer’s IT function and/or customer ERP vendors
  • Maintain and update the general demo environment used by Sales and CS teams

Sales Process Support

  • Provide functionality recommendations and expertise concerning best practices for prospective and existing users of Kefron AP
  • Liaison with Professional Services team to estimate required project professional services days for sales proposals beyond the standard Kefron Rate Card
  • Provide technical knowledge and support on issues of ERP system integration (further expanded on point 3 below)
  • Assist with review and input to sales proposals – particularly for level 1 quota carriers or play a central role in owning the technical elements of formal tender/RFP/RFI/RFQ submissions in partnership with the lead AE
  • Pre‑sales scoping documentation to include the capture of functional/technical requirements for standard and non‑standard AP workflows, Change Request changes (both for project and BAU requests), new product requests, etc.
  • Participate in post‑sales requirements gathering meetings to be led by the Kefron Project Manager. Of particular importance is attending those post‑sales kick‑off sessions where the Pre‑Sales Consultant has been heavily involved in the pre‑sales process and acquiring the customer
  • Provide ‘technical underwriting’ of new and non‑standard AP workflow solutions and integrations requiring platform development with the guidance and input from the CPO and/or CTO
  • Liaison with Product/Development team to assist with scoping of customer‑driven platform features/enhancements/change requests
  • To develop the existing Kefron AP Pre‑Sales function, including the creation of new and documented processes for those that collaborate with the Pre‑Sales function
  • To continue to develop the Kefron SharePoint environment and related AI chatbot for on‑demand answers to frequently asked questions
  • To maintain and develop the library of Kefron AP video training material for use in pre‑and post‑sales scenarios
  • Create reusable technical assets, e.g. white papers and diagrams etc.
  • To provide education to the sales team concerning all things Kefron AP with an emphasis on developing the Inside Sales team in their career path to Field Sales
  • To actively participate in the monthly product update sessions to inform the Sales and CS team of new platform functions and capabilities

Product Team Liaison and Platform Champion

  • Channel both market and specific prospect/customer feedback and new concept ideas into the Product team either via Product Board, written submission or guest appearances at the monthly Portfolio meeting.
  • Act as a champion for the platform both internally and externally; have the ability to articulate the product roadmap including the short, medium and long‑term plan for the system, covering major and minor functionality enhancements.
  • Work closely Product, Professional Services, Digital Ops and Support Teams
  • Supports – Kefron AP Sales and Customer Success teams
  • Liaise with Sales and Customer Success to align marketing efforts with commercial goals.

Required Qualifications

This role is a client‑facing technical position. Therefore, candidates will likely have come from a SaaS or IT service provider background, and could have been an implementation consultant, trainer or a support specialist. However, of paramount importance is the ability to operate in a commercial environment and be a great communicator.

The following technical competencies are relevant to the role:

  • Understanding of SaaS cloud architecture and security – ideally Azure
  • SFTP file exchange processing and methods
  • Data and file mapping principles between systems/databases
  • Any knowledge of accounting/ERP systems from a functional/technical/end‑user perspective
  • Principles of AI in the context of document processing and automation

Any of the following certifications would be an advantage:

Capability with the following is important:

  • User of Canva/Powerpoint for presentations
  • User of Microsoft Office and Co‑Pilot
  • User of enterprise Chat GPT
  • User of a modern CRM tool, e.g. HubSpot or SFDC
