Overview

Pricing Consultant to join Experian's Pricing Centre of Excellence. This is an important role where you\'ll help shape pricing strategies across our B2B services portfolio, ensuring they reflect customer value and support business goals. You\'ll report to the Pricing Consultant and Head of Insights and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, value-based pricing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Pricing Leads to define, implement, and continuously improve pricing strategies.
  • Design and lead price testing projects (e.g., Conjoint analysis, A/B testing, pilots, elasticity studies).
  • Develop offer structures, pricing models, and commercial frameworks tailored to customer segments.
  • Champion value-based pricing across the business, helping teams understand its benefits and impact.
  • Be a trusted advisor to commercial teams, balancing data insights with business context.
  • Analyse pricing performance using internal and external data to generate actionable insights.
  • Support the development of pricing governance standards, tools, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the Centre of Excellence\'s knowledge base, tools, and frameworks.

Qualifications

  • B2B pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management, ideally within services industries.
  • Deep expertise in value-based pricing and understanding of customer lifetime value, willingness to pay, and segmentation strategies.
  • Practical experience designing and running price tests, experiments, and pilots in B2B contexts.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to quantify value propositions and translate them into pricing decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and educate stakeholders who may be risk-averse or resistant to pricing change.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills and ability to tailor communication style to audiences, especially with non-pricing or commercial audiences.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., Excel for complex spreadsheets, SQL, BI platforms) and pricing software desirable.
  • Experience working in or alongside a Centre of Excellence or centralized strategy function is advantageous.
