NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

A 12m fixed term (maternity cover) 1WTE B8A Principal Clinical or Counselling Psychologist vacancy has arisen within the board-wide psychology peripatetic team.

You will join a dedicated team of Clinical Psychologists and CAAPs, based at Woodside Health and Care Centre in North West Glasgow, who work in a hybrid way.

This team works predominantly digitally, via NHS Near Me/Attend Anywhere, to deliver high intensity psychological therapies to patients who have (or are at risk of) experiencing a long wait to commence treatment on a Psychology waiting list.
