Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on best practice and strategy, recommend the appropriate methodology and tooling for business and technical challenges, and promote highly collaborative engagement within your squad.
• Implement engineering practices and tooling for infrastructure, hosting, CI/CD and testing.
• Build distributed systems using the latest technologies, with a focus on scalability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven record working as a DevOps Engineer on complex deliveries.
• Experience planning, building and leading large-scale transformations, implementing DevOps pipelines, and delivering into cloud-native environments.
• Deep understanding of tools and technologies such as: AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git/Gitlab and a deep understanding of software languages and Microservices/SOA patterns.
• Experience coaching and training teams in optimising software engineering and end-to-end delivery.
• Have a customer-centric attitude, with extensive experience working in a client-facing environment.
