Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer – Leading UK Engineering Consultancy. An experienced Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer or Senior professional looking to step up into a leading consultancy, join a well-established and expanding team. This office-based role focuses on interpretive reporting and technical assessment within the most complex and challenging contaminated land spaces in the UK, offering opportunities to work on high-profile infrastructure projects across diverse sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead interpretive reporting on third-party ground investigations – no fieldwork.
  • Conduct Generic Quantitative Risk Assessments (GQRA) and contaminated land assessments.
  • Develop conceptual site models and provide technical guidance on environmental risk management.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide technical oversight on complex projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, and environmental specialists.
  • Engage in client liaison and business development activities.
