To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations we are looking for a Lighting Team Leader to join our Lighting and Energy Solutions team. The role is ideally based in our Birmingham or Southampton offices but may be based at any UK office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the lighting team within the Highway sector.
  • Lead projects and teams through all stages of project development, including commissioning, pricing and delivery.
  • Produce bespoke deliverables and guidance documents for projects, supporting the wider team’s development.
  • Ensure road lighting design and electrical principles are applied correctly and adhere to relevant standards.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment, coordinating with clients from major public and private sector organisations.

Qualifications

  • Achieved IEng/CEng. EngTech working towards IEng is also welcomed.
  • Experience leading lighting and/or electrical design development with people management experience.
  • Knowledge of asset management and risk awareness of CDM and financial risk, with ability to manage or mitigate accordingly.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, analytical, technical and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant British Standards and guidance documents applicable to lighting and electrical works.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Lighting Reality, ElectricalOM (or similar electrical design software) is desirable.
