Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Principal Medical Writer who can combine scientific rigour with creative thinking to shape impactful campaigns and strategies for pharmaceutical clients, with a focus on the imminent launch of a new treatment for Alzheimer's.

What you’ll do

• Create high-quality, scientifically accurate content across medical education, promotional, and digital platforms.
• Translate complex science into clear, engaging messages tailored to diverse audiences.
• Contribute to brand strategy, ensuring scientific accuracy and strategic alignment.
• Conduct research to uncover insights that drive content and campaign development.
• Collaborate with creative teams to bring science to life in innovative ways.
• Build strong client relationships, presenting scientific and strategic concepts with clarity and confidence.

Qualifications

• A degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Proven experience in medical writing, ideally within a healthcare communications agency.
• Familiarity with brand strategy and enthusiasm for contributing to creative campaigns.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distil complex concepts.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines.

Salary: £65k-£75k plus bonus and superb benefits.

Hybrid with ~3 days in central London office.
