Job Description

The main roles of the Principal Planner are to take responsibility, as directed by the Planning and Building Standards Team Leader, for:

1. Processing and administering planning applications.
2. Leading negotiations on developer contributions.
3. Overseeing the effective monitoring of developments.
4. Dealing with consequential enforcement actions.
5. Contributing to service work on Local Development Planning and Placemaking.
