Overview

We're looking for an expert to lead the design, development, and integration of Microsoft Fabric with the Power Platform ecosystem (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse). This role drives innovation in data analytics, automation, and custom app development within Microsoft’s modern data stack.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect secure, scalable environments connecting Fabric with Power Platform
  • Develop custom apps & workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Integrate data via OneLake, Notebooks & Dataflows
  • Design dynamic Power BI dashboards from Fabric lakehouses
  • Enforce DLP policies and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and support agile/waterfall delivery

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work 3 days in the office per week.

Contract: This is a 6 months fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and deploy a wide range of infrastructure, including servers, networks, and IT peripherals such as UPS units, printers, scanners, mobile devices, laptops, and thin clients
  • Monitor and manage IT systems using appropriate tools, collaborating with external IT suppliers or consultants where necessary to ensure maximum performance and uptime
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal IT support, resolving issues directly or escalating to third parties when required
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements across the IT service to enhance efficiency and user experience
  • Lead assigned projects from initiation through delivery, meeting time, cost, and quality expectations
  • Maintain strong cyber security awareness and take proactive steps to secure systems and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with development and support teams to ensure smooth integration of IT services
  • Maintain and update product documentation to reflect enhancements and software changes
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improving team processes and workflows
  • Work to set deadlines in line with product release timelines and complete assigned development tasks within required timeframes
  • Develop and implement automated workflows aligned with business processes and governance frameworks
  • Utilise Power Pages to reduce manual handling and improve operational efficiency

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

  • Azure administrator experience
  • A high level of quality End user interaction

Desirable

  • Dynamics 365 administrator
  • Flow creation in line with best practice
  • Power platform / Power pages experience
  • Exposure and experience of working in ITIL practices.
