Join to apply for the Principal Pricing Analyst role at Allianz UKWe have a new opportunity for a Principal Pricing Analyst to join our Broker Motor Portfolio Pricing team in London on a hybrid basis. This role has been created to support the growth ambitions for our broker motor portfolio, which consists of a diverse range of products from standard car and van to motorcycle and other non-standard products.OverviewYou will use your insurance market knowledge and pricing expertise to develop and implement rating proposals that enable us to deliver on our business objectives. We work closely with the wider Broker business to manage our trading performance and with our Technical Excellence Pricing colleagues, so building and maintaining strong relationships is key to us achieving our goals.ResponsibilitiesCarrying out and support the team to deliver pricing analysisCoordinating the delivery of technical projects to improve underwriting performance against common technical modelling standards and adherence to data controlsDefining, setting priority and reporting on status of project work and rate reviews / analysis to support product and pricing developmentSupporting manager in Pricing meetings through presenting and contributing to outcomesAssisting in coaching and developing other colleagues within the team to ensure constant up-skillingEssential SkillsProven experience in working with large data sources and a good command of Python, SQL, SAS or similar coding languagesExperience of Willis Towers Watson Radar softwareGood understanding of the various elements of the price we set, and how we can optimise this to deliver business targetsGood stakeholder management skills, including communication, expectation management and the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audienceKnowledge of relevant statistical modelling methods and machine learning techniquesWhat We Will Offer YouFlexible benefits to choose from – flexible working options, hybrid workingAnnual performance related bonusContributory pension schemeDevelopment daysA discount up to 50% on a range of insurance products including car, home and petRetail discountsVolunteering daysOur Ways of WorkingDo you need flexibility with the hours you work?
