Principal Product Manager – Data Foundations

We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to own the strategic roadmap for our core data foundations and BAU data products (e.g., RMP, Pollpass, Chronicle, Export Manager, Autocoding). This role reports to the Director of Data product and works closely with the CPO and senior engineering leadership.

Overview

It’s a high-tempo environment focused on reliability, scalability, and commercial impact of data products while enabling others to focus on innovation and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic roadmap for core data foundations and BAU data products (e.g., RMP, Pollpass, Chronicle, Export Manager, Autocoding).
  • Ensure data products are reliable, scalable, and commercially impactful.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Data product, CPO, and senior engineering leadership.

What you’ll need to bring

  • Strong strategic product leadership skills with the ability to operate close to delivery.
  • Ability to balance long-term transformation projects (modernising infrastructure, improving scalability, governance) with short-term BAU delivery.
  • Confidence to lead cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, research, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Attitude aligned with GWI values: think big, ask why, and show respect to everyone at every level.

Interview steps

  1. Preliminary phone call with the Talent Team (no video required).
  2. First video interview with the hiring managers.
  3. Second (final) video interview with the hiring panel, often including a presentation, followed by a values conversation with the wider GWI community.
  4. Additional stages may apply as part of the process.
