Principal Product Manager

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our team, with experience in lending products, such as Credit Cards, to work in our Core Services team that provides the capabilities that are leveraged across our product lines. You’ll have a focus in Credit Risk & Decisioning.

You will lead the strategy and roadmap for Funding Circle’s proprietary credit decisioning technology, supporting our expanding product offerings including business credit cards, FlexiPay pay-by-instalment, and business loans. You’ll collaborate with product, tech, and credit risk stakeholders to enable rapid execution and drive innovation.

Note: The minimum office attendance is two to three days per week in our London office.

The role

• Own the vision and strategy for Funding Circle’s credit decisioning capabilities, prioritizing goals and defining roadmaps in partnership with credit risk, technology, product & commercial teams.
• Develop high-quality product requirements that enable your teams to create solutions that increase approval rates while managing compliance and risk.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to facilitate decision-making and execution.
• Connect market trends, customer behaviors, and business objectives to drive outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, or control weaknesses proactively.

Experience we’re looking for

• Experience in a lending business, preferably revolving credit or credit cards.
• 6+ years of product management experience.
• Experience with credit risk and decisioning.
