Principal Programmer
My client who work within the public sector is seeking a Principal Programmer to join their IT department on a 2 year contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and passion to join a fantastic team.
Key Details
- Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm.
- Hybrid working model, 1 day in the office.
- 2 year contract.
- Salary range £46,485 - £58,596.
- Extensive benefits package.
Duties and Experience
- Key position in maintaining the IT infrastructure and business systems to support departments based in 300 buildings across several national and international sites.
- Responsible for data from the point of application through full process. The main records system and processes data, and is integrated with a number of satellite systems which are also supported by the team.
- Playing a key role in leading on the development, maintenance and support of relevant and assigned systems – as well as the provision of support to end users.
- Post holder will work within multi-disciplined project teams, liaising with senior managers in other professional services.
- Responsible for leading on analytical and technical aspects of the delivery of IT systems and services in that area, working independently as required.
- Significant experience with Oracle is essential.
- Extensive expertise of HTML, XML/JSON, CSS, JavaScript.
- Extensive experience of programming using complex relational database structures.
- Be well-able to assimilate new technologies and complex data flows quickly.
